The Sanskrit definition of the word Mandala is simply circle or circular picture. Mandalas can be expressions of universal archetypal symbols or symbols of a more personal nature. Mandala are used as objects of power, devotion and meditative focus.

Koi Fish stands for good fortune, prosperity, riches, or luck. This comes from the Chinese's belief that seven - gold Koi will bring good luck to the household and the Dragon Gate legend itself. For the Chinese, Koi symbolizes success, exactly what it had when it reached the top of the top of the waterfall and became a dragon.

From the long history of the creatures, it is no wonder that there are tons of Koi fish symbolism that are circulating and inspiring thousands of people. It is also not surprising how it became a favourite icon for some cultures. Since the olden days, having a Koi, whether as a pet, a statue, a kite, a wind sock, or even a tattoo in these modern times, serves as a reminder of all the Koi fish symbolism.

Maori Tatto Face

I'm really interested in Maori culture and this inspired me to crate this Artwork .

Maori tattooing would usually start at adolescence, and was used to celebrate important events throughout life. The first tattoo marks the transition from childhood to adulthood and was done during a series of rites and rituals. Tattoo art was an important part of the Maori culture – in fact, people without tattoos were considered to be without status or worth.

Maori tattoo art is very beautiful, consisting of curved shapes and spirals in intricate patterns. Distinctive for Maori tattoo designs is the fact that they are based on the spiral and that they are curvilinear. The most prevalent place for a Maori tattoo was the face, probably a result of the cool New Zealand climate.
